Navidea Biopharmaceuticals was founded as Neoprobe Corporation in 1983. With the sale of the neoprobe®GDS medical device business in 2011, Navidea Biopharmaceuticals was born. This event aimed to give Navidea management greater strategic flexibility to drive long-term earnings growth and shareholder return. The Company's transformation into a biopharmaceutical company is focused on the development and commercialization of precision diagnostics and radiopharmaceutical agents and advancing the Company’s pipeline through selective acquisitions, global partnering and commercialization efforts.
